TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

These terms apply when you buy goods from Goosewell Studio through this website. Our bags and accessories are handmade, so small variations in pattern placement, colour, dimensions and finish are normal features of handmade goods and may occur between items. Colours may also appear differently depending on your screen.

Product measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise. Accessories or props shown in photographs are not included unless the listing says they are.

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the goods shown in your basket. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order; it does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. A contract is formed when we send confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched, whichever occurs first.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Any delivery charge will be shown before you submit your order. Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout. We may cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable, information or pricing is incorrect, or we cannot deliver to the address supplied.

We currently deliver only to UK addresses. Ready-made goods are normally dispatched within five working days after your order is accepted. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Delivery time begins after dispatch and depends on the delivery service used.

For most ready-made goods bought online, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. Email goosewellstudio@outlook.com with your name, order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You then have 14 days to return the goods. For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for return postage and should obtain proof of posting.

Custom-made or clearly personalised items are normally excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. Please contact us before ordering a custom bag so we can agree the design, materials, price and expected timeframe. This exclusion does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise not conforming to the contract.

For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, we refund the price paid plus the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We do not refund additional amounts paid for an upgraded delivery service. We may reduce a refund for handling beyond what would reasonably be allowed in a shop. Refunds are made to the original payment method within the applicable legal timescale.

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known to us. If an item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or is not as described, email us as soon as possible with your order number and details of the problem. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

Ownership of goods passes to you once full payment is received. Risk passes when you, or a person identified by you, takes physical possession of them. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory consumer rights. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

PRIVACY POLICY

We may collect your name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number if supplied, order details, payment status, delivery information, returns and refund records, enquiry messages, custom-order requirements, complaints, and limited technical information generated when you use the website.

We use personal information to take payment, fulfil and deliver orders, provide updates, manage returns and refunds, respond to enquiries, discuss custom work, keep tax and accounting records, prevent fraud, maintain reliable services and, where you have chosen to receive it, send marketing. Our legal bases may include performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent.

We share information only where reasonably necessary. Recipients may include IONOS, the payment provider offered at checkout, postal and delivery providers, Microsoft Outlook or other communication services, professional advisers, insurers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or courts where disclosure is necessary or legally required. Some providers may process information outside the UK and must use an appropriate lawful safeguard.

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including fulfilling orders, meeting tax and accounting duties, handling complaints and establishing or defending legal claims.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal information, object to certain use, and receive information in a portable format.
